Pocket Meadow
Cozy farming sim. I designed the whole critter cast and animated the squishy UI so every button feels like a tiny hug.
Portland, OR · Motion designer + illustrator · Open for work
Hi, I'm June — a freelance motion designer & illustrator making loud, colorful, unapologetically playful work. If your brand or indie game needs personality with a pulse, you're in the right place.
Selected work
A mix of motion, illustration and full brand systems for clients big and tiny. Poke around.

Cozy farming sim. I designed the whole critter cast and animated the squishy UI so every button feels like a tiny hug.

Craft soda startup needed a face. Meet Fizz — a bubbly mascot, an animated pour, and a can wrap you'll want to keep.

Fast-paced arcade cooking game. I built the neon title sequence and a hundred hand-animated sprite frames that sizzle.

A neighborhood plant shop. I drew a whole garden of illustrations plus an animated logo that grows on load. Literally.

A 30-second seamless animated loop for an indie musician's single. Endless, hypnotic, and stuffed with tiny surprises.

A language app that needed a friendly face. I made Pip the bird and animated every "you got it!" moment users chase.
No projects in that bucket yet — but I probably drew something anyway. Try another filter!
A little about me
I'm June — a Korean-American motion designer and illustrator based in rainy, wonderful Portland. I studied animation, fell hard for the moment a flat drawing takes its first breath, and never looked back.
My favorite briefs are the ones with room to be weird. I believe playful doesn't mean unserious — a well-timed bounce, a character with a real personality, a color palette that dares you not to smile: that's strategy you can feel. I work fast, I over-communicate, and I make the revision rounds actually fun.
How to hire me
Every project is custom, but most of what I do falls into these buckets. Not sure? Just say hi and we'll figure it out.
Explainer loops, logo animations, title sequences, social clips. Storyboard to final render, sound-friendly and pixel-perfect.
Characters, spot art, sticker packs, editorial, and full illustrated worlds. Bold outlines and colors that carry across everything.
Character design, sprites, UI, and juicy in-game animation for indie teams. I speak both "art" and "does this ship on time."
Mascots, animated logos, and a whole moving identity kit so your brand looks alive everywhere — not just on the homepage.
Tell me about the project, timeline and rough budget. I reply within a day.
We lock scope, then I send moodboards and rough directions to react to.
I animate and illustrate in shareable checkpoints — no black-box surprises.
Final files, exports in every format you need, and a little happy dance.
"June turned our boring fintech mascot into something people actually screenshot. Sign-ups went up. I'm not even kidding."
"Fastest, kindest, most talented animator we've worked with. Our players think the characters are real. That's all June."
"She gets 'playful but premium' in a way almost nobody does. Every deliverable felt like a gift we couldn't wait to open."
Let's make something loud
I'm currently booking new work. Tell me what you're dreaming up — brand, game, a single silly loop — and let's give it some personality.
